What is this?

SHINE (ages 8-10) and GLOW UP (ages 11-13) are boutique, therapist-led summer intensives designed to give girls a safe, warm, and modern space to navigate the things that matter most as they grow up: confidence, friendships, emotions, self-care, body changes, social pressure, and so much more.

These are not your typical summer programs. Every session is intentionally small, thoughtfully curated, and led by a licensed therapist who gets it.

Led by Janessa Borges — licensed therapist, speaker, author, entrepreneur, and mom with over 23 years of experience, including years as a school-based therapist in high schools.

SHINE (Ages 8-10) topics may include: confidence and self-esteem, friendship dynamics, hygiene and self-care, healthy habits, body changes and growing up, emotional awareness, anxiety and coping skills, communication and boundaries, and anonymous Q&A time.

GLOW UP (Ages 11-13) topics may include: confidence and self-esteem, hygiene, skincare and self-care, puberty and body changes, social media and comparison, friendship dynamics and peer pressure, emotional wellness and anxiety, boundaries and communication, healthy coping skills, and anonymous Q&A time.

Weekly Themes (both programs):

• Monday: Confidence and Self-Esteem
• Tuesday: Growing Up and Wellness
• Wednesday: Friendships and Social Pressure
• Thursday: Emotional Wellness and Anxiety
• Friday: Girls Unfiltered Q&A

Every session includes therapist-led conversations, age-specific curated exercises, all materials, confidence and wellness activities, and anonymous Q&A opportunities.

Girls should bring a water bottle and comfortable clothing. A packed lunch is required for full-day sessions.

Limited to 8-10 girls per session. Spots are expected to fill quickly.
